We will have a booth at the Ric Rac Roundup in the parking lot of Bon Bon Atelier on July 25th. Come by for a visit! We have been super busy designing and making our new line of earrings and kitchen towels(very exciting!), which will be making their debut at this show. The address is
314 Westport Road, Kansas City, MO 64111
Visit the Ric Rac blog for more info on the artists that will be there! http://ricracroundup.blogspot.com/
I just had to share this fantastic site...It's extremely addictive, so you might have to limit your time there. It's been very helpful for me with coming up with colorways for our new line! They also have a wide variety of patterns you can apply your color palette to, and you can name your own colors! Something I've wanted to do for ages after dealing with so many insane names for paint colors.

I found this great guide for those people who are new to Etsy shopping. It can be quite confusing at first, but this page contains everything you need to know to optimize your Etsy shopping experience. Now get out there and find some awesome handmade stuff! (like the photo above...I know, I'm shameless :))

This is my favorite scarflette we've produced so far, I just had to share it! It's the first in our new line of dyed scarflettes, and it's fleece lined, so soft and cozy! And, of course, it can be found in our Etsy shop (http://stirdesigns.etsy.com)!
Hello!! I decided today is the day for starting a blog. It has always seemed like fun, although a bit intimidating. I just decided to go for it! Well, first things first, introductions! I am Stephanie Foster, the daughter half of Stir Designs, which is a mother/daughter partnership in which we create functional pieces of art using a variety of mediums, mainly using my hand dyed fabric. My degree in Textile Design has come in handy! We make an assortment of accessories including purses, scarves, and brooches, as well as knit scarves, and I do a bit of ceramic work as well. I have a hard time deciding between clay and textiles, to be honest! Some day I will come up with something that involves both. Soon I will have lots of photos up here for the viewing pleasure of all...I just need a little sleep first. Ta-ta for now!
